Rental Guidelines

EQUIPMENT RESERVATIONS :
Freeborn’s rental equipment is available to campus departments and registered student organizations. Equipment can be reserved over the phone or at Freeborn Hall’s main office. Clients renting Freeborn Hall have first priority use over equipment up to three weeks prior to their event. We can guarantee availability for rentals three weeks from the date equipment is needed. A DaFIS account number will be required before any equipment is rented.

Reserve early for your event, as we may not be able to fulfill orders less than one week out.

WILL CALL:
While most of our equipment is available for customer pick-up and return, some require Freeborn delivery. Please call for more details.

RENTAL PERIOD & LATE

RETURNS:
Day rate includes a 48 hour period. Any rental beyond the 48 hour period will be charged a weekly rate. Equipment is due back on contracted date. Equipment not returned as scheduled, without prior arrangements with Freeborn, is subject to late fees charged at the daily rate for each day it is overdue.

DELIVERY AND PICK UP:
We offer delivery and pickup service on and off campus for your event. Rates are based on delivery and pickup of equipment only. Set-up of equipment is available and based on a per hour labor rate. Please call for an estimate for your order.

LOSS OR DAMAGE:
If equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, the total replacement cost will be applied.

CLEANING:
All equipment is to be returned in the same condition it was received. All soft goods, drapes, and skirts are to be folded and returned in the container received. If soft goods returned need to be cleaned/pressed, a charge of $2.50 per piece will be applied.
