Rec Pool Birthday Party Packages
We have the place to hold your child's pool party. Parties are two hours long for a minimum of 10 kids and at least one parent/adult must be present. During the spring, only weekend dates are available, starting April 23, 1-3 p.m. or 3:30-5:30 p.m. During the summer, weekdays and weekends are available. Parties are held during open rec swim hours. Contact Youth Programs at (530) 754-4304, three to four weeks before the preferred party date to check availability. A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required to reserve your party date and time. Price is per child. For every 10 children, three adults may be present at no charge.
Non Hosted Parties at the Rec Pool
- The Rec Pool welcomes birthday parties and other celebrations during open hours. We hope you will work with us to make this a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
- Let us know at least one week in advance if you are planning to bring more than 25 people so we can ensure we are staffed appropriately. Contact the Rec Pool at aquatics@campusrec.ucdavis.edu.
- On the day of the party, payment must be made prior to entering the pool (individually or as a group). We accept cash or check for payment. Make checks out to UC Regents.
- All party guests must enter through the Rec Pool main entrance. If you have large or bulky items a student manager can assist you through an emergency exit at the beginning and end of the party. Please note that we do not allow glass containers (including condiments) or alcohol.

If you have a large number of children present, please notify the student manager, so we can review the pool rules with them before they get in the water.
Memorial Union Games Area Birthday Party Packages
Your birthday party just got happier! Our party packages currently include two hours in a party area, one hour of bowling, rental shoes and five tokens for each child. This package combination is our lowest priced option, but can be customized to meet your needs. Lightweight bowling balls and bumpers are available for our younger guests upon request.
