Women’s Water Polo Sports Club Wins Back-to-Back
Women’s Water Polo Sport Club won it's second consecutive national championship at the National Collegiate Club Championship (NCCC), held May 3–5 at University of Minnesota. UC Davis became only the third team in NCCC history to earn back-to-back championships, defeating third-ranked University of Central Florida, with a final score of 6-5.
Youth Programs Summer Camps
Interested in crafts? Passionate about dance? From water polo to rockets, Youth Programs offers a variety of summer camps to teach your child something new, while they have a good time and make new friends.
Cool Off at the Rec Pool
The Rec Pool features two lap-swimming lanes, two diving boards, an island for water activities, and large lawns where you can relax. The Rec Pool is open this spring 1–6 p.m. Monday–Thursday, and 12–7 p.m. Friday–Sunday.
Secure Your Spot Soon
The One-Pitch Softball Tournament on June 1 offers a twist to the traditional sport. Each participant is allowed “one pitch,” making every inning fast pace. Register online for the tournament, May 20–27. The event will be played on Hutchinson Field and offers the following divisions: Men’s Open, CoRec Open, CoRec Res Hall.
Memorial Day Ceremony at the MU
In honor of UC Davis students who have lost their lives in military service, a Memorial Day ceremony will be held on May 23 at 5 p.m. at the Memorial Union North Plaza, followed by a reception in Griffin Lounge. Distinguished speaker and World War II veteran Francis Resta will speak, and members of Veteran’s Affairs and UC Davis ROTC program will attend.

A special Memorial Day ceremony will be held Thursday, May 23 at 5 p.m. at the Memorial Union North Plaza, followed by a reception in Griffin Lounge, to honor former UC Davis students who fought and died for our country.

May 24: 6 a.m.–8 p.m.; May 25-26: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; May 27: 12 p.m.–1 a.m.
